I have never owned a 270 believe it or not. There was nothing a 270 could do that a 308 or 243 could not.

It’ll reliably kill elk and .243 win won’t.

I'm a big fan of 308. I like a 257WBY for open plains the last several years. But the ammo is crazy expensive. Makes me just say why bother. Stick with the 308
