A while back I stumbled on some .40/10 bullets on gunbroker.. Come to find out they were from a manufacturer right in Augusta,GA. GT BULLETS!
220 Grain Lead Hollow Points!

I got a Good deal on 450 of Em` and I always Love sending New and Interesting Things Quickly Down a 10mm Barrel.

I put off messing with them until recently and started to get back to them.. This is still some preliminary stuff but after talking to George on the phone, a really Nice guy. He offered to run my work ups through quickload and find some loads for me on loaddata.com.. I thanked him and ventured out on my own.

I had a crazy idea of working up a H110 and 2400 load... and of course some Longshot/AA#9 work ups. So far I have only got to the 2400 and MP275(Longshot) which my Lot of MP275 (all 36#'s of it is from all of my testing identical to the spendy name brand stuff which I also have a lot of..)

At first I was worried about the Alloy's hardness, but from the stuff I've shot with em' I usually recover either large intact pieces or like this one today captured in a gallon jug.

Anyways this is still a project underway.. but here is some info

Fired Sample:
MP275 (Longshot) 1,098fps
Retained Weight: 213.7gr 98% Weight Retention!
Diameter: .401
Length: .480 Tallest, .416 Shortest
EXPANSION: .601 Smallest .771.5 Biggest

Loads Worked Up:
New Starline Brass, Winchester WLP, COAL 1.261 Lee FCD - Light Amount

Aliant 2400 1,159fps SD 10.5 ES 25
MP275 (Longshot) 1,094fps SD 7.5 ES 18 (Aside from being 64fps slower than the 2400, this is just a much more tame load)

As far as pressure signs.. There are none that myself or my micrometer can detect. But I may only increase .1/.2 grains.. try a different crimp and or a hair off of the seating depth.. I started these things at 1.269 and could only load 2 or 3 in a mag at a time without jams..

I just thought I'd throw this out there.. I'm pleasantly surprised with my initial tests and look forward to more with these Sinkers. I also look forward to trying some more of GT Bullets offerings. If anyone has experience with loading these or any of there other bullets please do share.

Happy & Safe Reloading to you!
