10mm: Why so elusive?

So I was in the market for a hand cannon and I picked up a Glock 20. Was this a bad idea? I cant seem to find any ammo locally. Anybody seen any?

Thats the company I am going with for carry ammo but Id like to find somewhere locally that has some FMJ in stock.

A little far from Villa Rica or I'd recommend Ga Arms...they always have 10mm in stock...maybe, check out a local gun show that they might be at.

Not a issue for me!! Lol. If your gonna start shooting the 10mm alot then I DEF. Recommend you look into getting into reloading. I load all my own ammo and I own three seperate 10mm's. You will save a TON of money in the long run. PLUS you can load the 10mm the way it was meant to be. Not watered down .40 s&w rounds.

I just dont know alot about reloading. Id like to load 10mm and .223. Check your PM.

If I may make a recommendation.. Hot 10mm in a Glock will cause case bulging. If you plan on reusing your brass or shooting full-power or heavyweight (ie. 230gr) loads, I highly recommend getting an aftermarket barrel from KKM, Storm Lake, or Lone Wolf Distributors.

Got any components you wanna part with? I've got some 10mm cases prepped and primed but powder and bullets ain't exactly easy to come by nowadays. I'm specifically looking for 165gr JHP and Accurate #9 powder.
