11/19 deer hunt

He was healthy for sure, I was going to carry him out. Instead we got the tractor. He stunk so bad.

I saw a pair of bald eagles towards the north end of my beaver pond a little after lunch today. I think they're nesting on my neighbor's property on his beaver pond. ODT rules ... Pics or it didn't happen. Here's the best pic we could get of either of them. It's hard to see but it's between the two trees. Free ice cold high five to whoever can spot it

Saw 8 this morning, 3 bucks and 5 does. One of the bucks came home with me. My hands still stink of him haha. Also got a doe yesterday evening and a squirrel this afternoon. Been a good weekend!

Watched my favorite kind of deer, a 100 lb lone doe, move across 250+ yds and stop 100 yds out into an opening.
She took a step just as I squeeze the trigger. 168gr. 308 did what it does and dropped her at 5 yds.
Bring home the meat~ ☺
