11/26 Hunt

I just dropped a doe where it stood.

Shot from inside my box. The muzzle brake on my RPR blew the mesh all to hell.

Sitting on the Cobb CORPS land in my climber. Saw three turkey eating white oak acorns at 45 yards. 15 minutes later 5 does came in just on the trail. They didn't hangout to eat. Little did I realize the wind did a 180. Once the lead, oldest doe caught human scent she U-turned and lead the group back where they came from. They were about 35 yards.

One doe trotting through at 8:05. Was hoping to see something chasing. That's all so far

Well I have not been able to get into the woods much this years so when I finally did I got a little excited! Freezer filled!!

Nice shooting. I would have let the little one walk but to each their own. Legal and ethical. Congrats.

My buddy shot and missed a monster, no blood, no hair at 8:15 this morning. He's crushed, says it was 140-150 class beast.

Probably still shaking. I would be. It's a horrible feeling but we have all been there.

Especially when it's been many years since seeing a monster.
