Connected with one pushing some does around this morning. Folks crap on 6.5 creedmoor but he went maybe 60 yards.
That's 60 more yards if dragging.

Congrats Sam! Nice buck. I'm giving it a go this afternoon. First time in 21 days. I'm toting my 6.5 CM. It poked a hole clear through a Kingsford charcoal lighter fluid bottle. Granted it was empty but your buck gives me hope that i made the right choice.

In the mountains you wouldn't say that. On my property the longest drag would be 75yds. Because of a road system. Sides, don't mind him. You've probably taken way more deer than the average hunter
The drag was only that long because of a tree being down, had it not been down it would've been about 50 yards on this one.
As crazy as it may sound this was only number 20 for me including does. I have only been hunting regularly for 9 years. I didnt shoot my first deer until 2016.
I had a very nice buck tear by my stand at 10:00 this morning. He was after a doe and was on the move. Couldn't stop him. Ten minutes later a little 4 point walked out exactly where they were, too bad it wasn't the big boy. It was a cold one this morning
