As soon as I step out of the truck this morning it smelled like deer piss. What a glorious smell.... I get in the stand and no more than thirty minutes go by before my bowels are about to erupt. I just made it down in time and to the creek before anything bad happened. Literally as soon as I walk back in the stand no more than 3-4 minutes. Coyotes were coming straight were I just was. Busted one and couldn’t get a clean shot on the other. Hoping it will circle back. I guess I’m gonna have to start carrying my sons 6.5 ar with a couple of loaded magazines or I’m gonna be running short on ammo.
I did find two nice rubs on two large trees and two old moonshine stills
Sat watching 9 Doe's eating and playing for the longest time waiting for a buck. Finally decided to take her before I lost the light when he didn't show up. Took her right at 70 yards with my Remington 700 in 300bo
I didnt see any deer today, but I enjoyed the time out just the same. Congrats to all those who got to go, and those who were able to harvest!
I thought silencers were illegal in Georgia for hunting critters?
