Could today be the magic day for a twelve point to be shot. I hope so. Getting to hunt my dads river property today and he has some good ones. Fumbled by light around looking in my bag and the deer blew to me saying they didn’t appreciate getting blinded but sounded like they would be back

At work today. Seems as the season has gone further I’ve had less luck. Much more deer in October and early November. Kinda makes ya sad a little.

Sitting out this morning, but probably hunt this evening. A friend wanted a deer, so I shot a fat 125 pound doe yesterday. Had to drag it through briars by myself, so I'm kind of tired. My cell cams were busy all night.

Going to still hunt/scout a spot I have been saving for late season shortly. Rain is rolling in this afternoon.

Have passed on several bucks, want to put a deer in the freezer before the season is out. Today may be the day I bust a doe.

deer still on the move around here, there is a Rut in January and later
I've seen many tiny spotted fawns in September
in fact I start seeing spotted Fawns in March thru September

Bagged a spike at 0800.

Came in nose to ground...went straight to my pee wick.

Wasn’t gonna shoot him but he kept leaving and coming back so I smoked him.

Group of several does came in ten min later and lingered a bit.

Before first light something large came through and was snapping branches and scraping.
Not sure if big buck or bear.
