Just ran three out of my yard in Gainesville at 6:26 otw back from a biscuit run! Hunt from the bedroom window! There here while we’re out there freezing looking for them!
Ain’t even seen a tree rat yet.
Had a grand morning!
Snuck up to these 2 at 35 yards at high noon.
Mama was hit a little to far back and ran 30 yards to the worst briar patch in Carroll Co. and died here:
Junior ran down the hill towards me when MaMa bang flopped and he took a direct boiler room hit at 10 yards. When I pulled the trigger I saw blood burst like a balloon.
The rifle is a Ruger American Compact 7mm08 shooting the Norma Whitetail 150gr load because it was in stock.

That is a Northern Pintail drake.
