doe number 12 &13 just snuck in without me seeing them until they were basically right in front of me. They crossed about 10 yards in front of me while I was looking at the other doe. That makes number 4 and 5 in front of me at this moment. But don’t know how long that’s going to last the biggest doe in the first group of three is chasing off the big doe from the two that just came in. Doesn’t seem to mind the smaller one but won’t let the bigger doe close. I enjoy sitting and watching the deer and how they act as much as I do if not more than actively hunting them.

Here we go. Momma and baby. I know I need to thin some does out but I just don't want to do it right now. I guess I'm getting a little soft or lazy...not sure which lol

Some pics from today’s hunt. Most of the doe I seen were moving in groups of 2 or 3 there was a deer patrolling the fence line I could catch a glimpse of it moving through the trees here and there but never could get a good look

I need to thin out some doe here as well. But my problem today was even though I wanted to go hunting I didn’t really feel like cleaning a deer. I would have had a nice buck walked out but basket racks, spikes and doe all had a free pass day today.

Seen a lot of doe again this evening. I’m keep saying that I’m going to thin the doe heard in the early season every year but I get lazy then this time of year I end up watching doe all day. Had a monster patrolling the fence line this evening but couldn’t get a clear shot. I’m thinking I need to sneak in in a climber or put a ladder stand up that I can see the fence line from. I think the buck are using the small clearing along the fence line as a check station to check the doe as they move in and out of the bedding areas which are just on the other side of the fence line where the woods get really thick. I still haven’t mastered this deer hunting thing but based on what I’m seeing that says the best I got so far
