12/3 hunt

The warm foggy weather combined with the full moon totally shut things down at our place in Hancock . We had four hunters in the woods for four hunts. Not a single deer was seen. I don't think that has ever happened to us before. Next week should be a different story, with the cold front coming in.

I heard deer blowing in the distance this evening and that was it. Never saw anything, but at least I heard some. Also heard turkey roost not far away.

I was in my blind from 6:30 til 5pm except for about an hour and didn't see any deer. Guess I'll be in my blind again all day tomorrow and see what happens. Hopefully with the cold front coming in tomorrow they will start moving. Good luck to anyone hunting tomorrow.

Saw about 8 doe yesterday between 2-6. None that were close enough for me to take a confident shot at with the new bow.
