2nd rut is happening. Had a 4 pointer grunting and chasing does this evening.

Congrats to those that harvested an animal. Didn't make it out this morning, but had a long afternoon sit. Saw a bunch of does and that same 6 point from the other night.

I shot a large doe and a small doe last Thursday night ought to eat good. Shot a small doe tonight to help a brother out that hasn't had any luck this year. All in all it has been a good weekend

Jumped a poor injured 4 point today on the way to a ladder stand.
He looked okay when he leaped up three away from me but I noticed him limping real bad and he didn’t go far and stopped for a sec but He was up the knoll from me a little and all I could see was his head and shoulders but he had a really bad limp like someone had injured him.
I saw him last weekend there and he was fine.
I was prepared to take him out if he was hurt bad but he ducked into the laurel.

Saw 7 this afternoon. Last one was a buck right at dark, couldn't see the rack well enough to tell anything more than that it was definitely a buck so he got a pass.
