Do any of you have the 8 tube speed e loaders. they are nice when reloading tube fed 22's. I have also made tube feeders out of old arrows.

Like several people here I have had my Marlin 60 for 40 years and My Dad bought me mine from K-Mart back in the 70's and I have put thousands upon thousands of rounds thru mine too.
It has had very few FTF and FTE and has been my Favorite .22 of all time.

These are fun... and awesome!

I shoot steel plate rifle competition and with the spee-d-loader along with my 1950 JC Higgins Model 30 that holds 18 rounds in the tube, I beat all the 10/22 and M&P22 guys every time. While I'm shooting, their clearing jams.

I've had mine for 30+ years and can only remember 3 fte's, which I feel was an ammo issue. It almost seems to perform better when dirty and I know that sounds strange. It is one of the most accurate guns that I own.

I agree but doesn't sound like he had much of an issue. I never did either when I was a kid....WD 40 for everything.
