Did you trim that loin or just halve it?
I bought a whole tenderloin from Costco. I can't decide whether to cook it whole or cut into individual steaks. Also.. BGE guy here too.Oh man, enjoy those steaks - they're going to be good. Did the full smoker last year for family and friends on Christmas and loved it, going lower key this year with filet on the egg tomorrow afternoon.
Had to cut it in half to fit in smoker- left the fat cap on. I’ll have to take a few extra cholesterol pills cause I love the fat.
