Try looking for 38super in 158. Once upon a time, I went through 3000 or more of them—they came with my used press.

I have never wanted to do it again. The powder charge with fast powders is so light that you have to very careful not to get a squib or two.

These are the powder charges that I used:

    Unique 3.35, Alliant 2400 5.50, Tite Group 3.00

Old Lyman cast bullet book showed a 158gr load with 3gr of bullseye (low end) to 3.5gr (high end) with a cast pill.

That was with the Lyman #358311 mold. Lee also makes a 158 grain SWC mold, both are .358 diameter and would need to be sized down a couple thousandths.

You could also get some commercial cast .358-158's and run them through a bullet sizing die at home if you don't cast.
