Should I get the barrel threaded on my 16" 308 Saiga Converted AK to add a muzzle break? It is already loud as hell and has quite a kick, and I don't know whether the added sound and concussion from the break will actually help with barrel stability given I'm not a sharp shooter. Also, how much will people hate me on the outdoor range?

This is my STHF riffle, nothing more.

Thread it, and get a PWS FSC muzzle break. They are amazing and will help with recoil. I used a FSC47 on my 54r 16" VEPR and it cuts the recoil in half.

Yes!! Plus if you ever get a can, it'll be a sweet host.

I can't remember on a scale of 1-10 on how much a pain the barrel of the 308 saiga was.

I've read online you have to move the front sight back a pin, because OEM it is flush with the end of the barrel. Definitely a gunsmithing job. Any AK gunsmith recommendations in the Atlanta metro area?
