Not converted, BUT Veprs are much easier to convert than Saigas.
Trigger and trigger guard are already in the right place, muzzle looks to be threaded as well.
Screw in a bullet guide for $20, so it can take regular AK mags, swap the furniture, put in G2 trigger for compliance, and the muzzle device of your choice.

Why pay $1,600 for a converted Vepr when you can have the same gun for $900+$200 in conversion parts?
Or $1100 for SLR107 when $1100 buy a much better gun?

Buy it NOW. Put away. Convert later. It is very easy.
Conversion will take a Sunday afternoon and a six pack of beer.
I have several different AKs, Vepr will outshoot and outlast every single one of them. From Chinese, to Russian Saigas and Bulgarian AKs and everything in between.

I'm deployed until mid March. Idk if my LGS would hold it for that long.

Overseas? Bummer. Call the LGS and ask. Most gun guys are very receptive to the military issues. It is only a month.
Or check with one of the ODT vendors, like Cherokee, they are good folks.

I'll probably get in touch with one to see if they can help. Wondering if the conversion would be tough for an AK noob.

Buy a bullet guide and Tapco G2 trigger set at Carolina Shooter's Supply.
Watch one of many Youtube videos. You will need to drill a guide hole for the screw for the guide. Screw it in. Drink a beer.
It now takes regular AK mags.
If you want to dump the Russian furniture, you will need to buy US made furniture made for slant cut Vepr and a US trigger.
Replacing furniture involves 2 screws.
Trigger is a bit more difficult, but not bad
