What led you to choose the .100 gas port size? IMHO, that seems a tad large compared to some other manufacturers that opt to stay on the smaller side of the spectrum.

An 18" with rifle gas doesn't have a lot of dwell time. The gas port size will allow it to function with even the lower pressure .223 ammo. The same barrel with mid gas is .078" for comparison.

Is this sold as a kit or as a completed assembled upper? I didn't notice a gas tube in the picture.
Anyone shot one of these setups yet? Group sizes or any kind of report?

This is just parts/ not assembled. If you want the gas tube, etc, you can add them separately. This is a barrel we sell regularly and have had great results with, but the package deal is fairly new.
