From what I'm reading mine should be mid 40's production. It's an early 4 digit serial numbered scope.

Went and shot the ol'girl with the original barrel, not really sure If I should replace it with the new one. It did pretty well to look so rough.

Got to take it out again this past Sunday, I was able to install the new barrel myself, and rented a pull through reamer to finish ream it. This is the first five shots out of the new barrel, and then 30 more rounds on the second target at 100 yards. I ended up with 50 fire formed cases, and should serve to break in the new barrel a little. Also it's definitely a challenge to shot with such a lower power scope, the post completely covers the orenge dot at that range.
