Found this at my grandparents house, interesting to see how far we've come and which things stayed relatively the same in consumer products. It was kinda fun actually to calculate inflation of the dollar with the prices of the products, mainly the firearms.

You must remember that an ounce of gold was fixed at $30. Per ounce. For every dollar in circulation there was 1/30th an ounce of gold in Ft. Knox.

Today an ounce of gold is $1222.00. Today with digital currency they don't even have to print it.

Nice, I did not know that about the gold/dollar percentage.
