I am looking to buy a 1911 in 9mm. What set up would you guys reccomend? I am looking to stay between $700 and $800 with some wiggle room north if needed

I love those Rugers. Getting this for my wife for anniversary.
I look on here several times every day for one. Like the colt and the ruger. Trying to keep from going to a shop. I am tired of paying taxes on guns.
I think Grabagun and CDNN had Colts in the $700-800 range.
Got myself a Philippines version on the cheap and it's nearly as nice as the Springfield Range Officer I had. Might want to look into get a Rock Island Tactical. Nice, basic 9mm that won't break the bank.

A Colt is a good option. Don't forget about Springfield Armory. You can get a Loaded 9mm for the price you are looking at and I have owned several 1911's and the Springfield is right up there with Colt and the other in that price range. I sold my Springy like a fool and now I am trying to get a few AR builds in before I purchase Springfield Loaded A1. It had the sweetest trigger of any gun I have ever owned right out of the box. They run like sewing machines and feel just as precise.
This is a pretty gun.
Around 850. Shoots like a dream. It's a 9mm.
