1911 bug

Classic Commander, Discretion 45, and a Specialist 45. Had a Heritage and an Guardian but traded them for an Ed Brown. Then traded off the Ed Brown and got the discretion. Eventually will add either a Valor or and ECP to the collection one day

Good to hear, I'm in the market for a 9mm Vigil with the 4 inch barrel. Any experience with this particular model?

I have none, sorry...But I can say with certainty, it's a DW, it's a GOOD gun...For a LONG time I thought the quality was probably better when Bob Serva ran the company, but I have been convinced otherwise. Now we all know that Serva put out top quality guns, And still does through Fusion, but I think CZ matches his quality...

My DW Pointman Major-C. It was carried often but rarely shot. Not sure of the build year, and am guessing 2001/2002? First two letters on serial number are DW.

I do...I have a 6 inch 10mm that I bought as a build kit, I have not shot it yet. To be truthful, I had an issue with the hammer, But Bob and his son QUICKLY remedied the situation, so I am convinced this was a one only issue. The rest of the gun is VERY impressive..

I’ve been checking out the Freedom line on there web site. Their CCO seems like a lot of gun for the price, but I have never actually seen one.
Then again the Vigil CCO doesn’t cost that much more and I’m sure it would be really nice.

Believe mine was the Freedom series, but as the kit, not as an assembled gun...Well built kit, I just think I got the wrong hammer in mine. They sent out the replacement, and it fit like a glove...

Absolutely. Best semi-custom 1911s out there for the money IMHO.
