I have looked at making some grips for a newly acquired love of my 1911... Watched a few vids, a little reading, and talking to members who have pulled off some really nice work... I really would like to make a set from a black walnut that is going to be cut down in my own yard... Any help or experience is appreciated! Thanks in advance...
