If you want a new barrel of good quality, I can recommend Bar Sto's semi fit. I just put one in my Kimber 40 caliber. It was just a little oversized in the hood and on the flat vertical and horizontal surfaces of the Nowlin ramp. The upper and lower lugs were as perfect as could be. It took a few weeks to deliver, a shorter link, and three hours of off and on again work from me. A non ramped, standard barrel should be easier.

Georgia Gun Store has a good selection, though I don't know about a commander barrel...buds has threaded big name commander barrels right now for 89 bucks.....full size for 99...

Quoting my own post equals EATING CROW....Don't buy one of these Buds/Quick guns barrels....I bought two full size threaded at 99 bucks each, they are too short to work, by a solid 1/8 inch. Wasted money.
