Took a few of this Wilson Combat Professional as a member is interested in buying it.
I just picked this up a week or so ago.
Well after an extended hiatus I guess I'm back in the 1911 game. Here are the ones I've picked up recently: a 70 series, an 80 series stainless 9mm and perhaps my best find is a GI 1911.
Some of you guys know I found my period correct Garand back in March. Now I've made a nice addition to compliment it. Pictured is a 1911 made in 1917. This old girl likely served in WWI and was reworked at the Augusta Arsenal at some point likely for service in WWII. Based on where the pony is on the slide, I believe everything is original except the barrel and grips of course. I don't know but I think it's pretty cool to have a piece of history like this.
