1911 Porn-Let's See What You Got

One I foolishly let go. Old school custom. I suspect but couldnt prove it was built at Kings Custom in the 70's. Had several Swenson mods done by them or him. Was a sweet shooting carry gun. But the divorce was worth it.
I like the commander hammer tastefully cut to clear the "duck tail" safety. Nice work...Not a fan of the squared off trigger guard, that can't be easy to pull off, but it was nicely done on this one.

The square trigger guard was all the rage in the late 70's early 80's. That gun had a ton of stuff done to it and still shot lights out!! Had to sell it and most of my hi end 1911's to get rid of that psycho, but was worth it in the end.

Very nice I still have a set of stags on my wish list.
Thanks and that picture don't even do em' justice either, but yeah those real sambar stags look a lot better to me than any other type of stags but the really nice looking ones are getting harder to find. My Dad gave me those in the early 90's, later on he gave me a set for my Vaquero along with some black buffalo horn grips. He also gave me another set of stags for a Govt Model 1911, those now belong to my friend geezer geezer who put them on one of his cool 1911's. I have some knives with sambar stag handles too, I just think nothing dresses up a gun or knife better. I do like turquoise on knives though too, that's my birthstone plus I have Native American heritage.
