Same here, now if I still had all the different 1911's I've own through the years.....I'd still be a rookie compared to some guys in this thread. Lol! If I counted right including the two I still have, I've owned eleven all together. My son has one of my old Springfield Ultra Compacts. I had two different versions of those, one all stainless that I inherited from my Dad & one with a blued slide and stainless frame. The two tone Springer got stolen but it was recovered after an armed robbery in Birmingham a year later. It came back with scratches, pits & rust on it. I got it cleaned up the best I could and sold it, I just couldn't stand to look at it anymore after I got it back.Guess I am in the "enthusiast camp". Lot of good looking pistols in this thread.
