I did pretty much the same, except scrounged around in my spares box.

As expensive as springs are now, it is nice to be able to sort them and ID them quickly.

I have done a poor job labeling my extra springs, this will let me sort them.

That's just good old fashion Mountain engineering. I don't mean that in a negative way. Moonshiners are responsible for some of the best car suspension parts we are currently using now but in a more modern looking CNC'd form. They were doing car mods way ahead of their time in barns. I like to see someone take matters into their own hands and craft up something nifty. Very good my good sir, very good!
