Cars lost all style after about 1971

Anything designed after that just has no style

I love the cars from the era when labor was cheap and technology was expensive and they wasted a lot of metal just to get a certain look

The door on a 66 thunderbird is 11 inches thick , to make it look stylish
The tail lights have almost 100 screws holding the trim and lenses on
All which have to be removed to change the bulbs

I love all the cars from about 1932 to 1940, those were the classics in design and beauty. Auburns, Deusenbergs, Packards, Cadillacs, Lincolns, LaSalles were the pricey ones, but the Fords, Chevys and Plymouths were stylish too.
