Picked this sucker up from an asshole on gunbroker (long story)....for less than $300.

Worked on the stock finish a bit as it was mismatched colorwise just like many of these that were re-arsenaled at some point. Very happy with the results. Just worked some Toms 1/3 mix wax into the stock and it looks much better. I'm usually not a fan of messing with stock finish but I didn't remove any finish.

I've started having an affinity toward Enfields....which is good because I did have an affinity toward Gewehr 43s but I don't have a money tree in my backyard so this will be better.

did the seller have no reserve yet still not want to sell it when he didn't like the final bid price?

it looks good well still appearing not modern refinished
 
careful dont bubba anything some military rifles came with mismatched stock new as they did not always use the same wood for stock and front cover, dont know if that applies to yours but research it first.
