I wanted to share this in case there were any other ODT brothers or sisters having the same problem with your extended cab doors.

I had the issue with both of my rear doors. When I checked about having them repaired the cost was going to be over $100 per door. I mentioned it to my son and he told me what part to order. Well, the first door took more than 3 hours by the time I cleaned out the back seat, rounded up the tools I needed and scratched my head quite a bit. The second door only took about 30 minutes and one Miller Lite!!!

Final outcome was that both doors now function like new for a grand total of $20. I called my son when I finished and thanked him for the info.

4 cable ends. Ford used plastic that dries and cracks. The replacements are $10 per door and aluminum. They will last forever.
