2 x 4 wood and supplies in Gainesville

Hey Y’all,

I’m building a greenhouse with old windows and Polycarbonate roof myself, and I’m just tired of getting my supplies from the 2 big box stores up here in Gainesville. The quality of the wood is subpar and slim pickings besides poor C/S.

Anyone have any experience with a great builder supplier’s in the Oakwood/Gainesville part of town.

I only have a 5x8 trailer so I can’t buy anything longer than the 8ft wood.

Doesn't ACE hardware by you have a lumber section? I know in Clarkesville (Habersham County) they have a great lumber yard, and ACE is locally owned (franchise).

If you have an 8 foot long trailer, you ought to be able to carry 12 foot lumber.
just attach a bright red flag to one of the ends of the boards that hang over the edge of your trailer's deck by a few feet.

What about builders surplus off 985 and 60?...there are a few places in oakwood that sell lumber...
