Congratulations... and thanks to @kingdaddy3247 for narrowing it down and getting it correct. Great observations of the shadows in the pictures. Actually, that's what prompted my giveaway in the first place with this item. That, and all the great folks on here that like to have fun!

A little history: This "pistol" was made around 1980 by Jim Thompson, the founder of Chipmunk Manufacturing in Medford, OR. It was a sort of prototype, and was the first gun he made with the not-yet-registered logo of the Chipmunk holding the rifle. It is the only one of these I have ever seen, but I am told that there were about 25 - 30 of these made but none of them are identical. Who knows... but it's just about the coolest little gun I've ever seen. The dovetail joint holding the grip to the stock is nothing short of a work of art!
