A while ago I whined about my well maintained Hyundai Tucson with 104k miles on it. During a trip it developed a decided knocking sound. I had it towed to a garage while I hoped Hyundai would have a recall on that car. No luck. So I contacted the dealer when I bought it used and they mentioned warranty, not recall.
I had it towed to the dealer. They found a lower crank bearing defective. Bottom line, Hyundai took all responsibility. They are replacing the engine, no charge! THAT is standing behind your product!!
