2015 Chevy Silverado 4wd Z71?

Gents,

Approaching 100k miles in the next month. Other than oil changes, tire rotations, and air filter changes.... I haven't done any other maintenance. I'm thinking about a tran service and my question is drop and drain or flush? What other preventive measures should be taken? Of note- 75% of miles are easy highway miles. Some while dragging my boat back and forth from Orange Beach, AL. Thanks for the help and advice

Change the air in your tires, grease your muffler bearings and top off the blinker fluid. Should be good as new.

Guess I should clarify... more interested if you guys go the drop and drain route or the flush route for trans service

Change, the water pump, starter, alternator, belts and hoses....

just a suggestion to consider...

would not mess with the trans if it is working properly...

Got an 08 with 5.3 and probably same transmission 230k on it never touched the transmission fluid, in fact my mechanic refuses to change it, no need and too much risk since nothing wrong.

Got a 15 same configuration, 39k only changed oil so far.

Maybe?? Add a trans cooler if you're towing the boat much? I've heard horror stories about changing/flushing the tranny in the late model stuff ; not just Chevy
