Yes, by doing away with the NFA trust loophole, he has made it more difficult to purchase and own suppressors and NFA items without a CLEO signoff, it hasn't significantly effected gun prices or availability as far as I know. I could be wrong, as I'm not yet in the NFA game, though I would like to be.

There are a couple threads about it here. Some say yes, others say that there's a work-around for it. I'm just going to file all my stuff before July and be done with the NFA game either way.

As I understand it, 41p did away with the CLEO permission requirement when filing as an individual, but you will still have to notify your CLEO.

I don't put a lot of faith in "1000 people". Same kind of polls said that Matt Bevin would lose Kentucky by a wide margin, and he won. Same kind of polls that had Trump at 3% this time last year.
