GOP Rep Introduces National Concealed Carry Reciprocity on Day One of New Congress

https://t.co/Ewy0oldY70

"Rep. Hudson’s bill, which is supported by major pro-Second Amendment groups, would allow people with a state-issued concealed carry license or permit to conceal a handgun in any other state that allows concealed carry, as long as the permit holder follows the laws of that state. It also allows residents of Constitutional carry states the ability to carry in other states that recognize their own resident’s right to concealed carry."

Yep and sure would be nice to remove the restrictions within said states that certain jurisdictions or provinces subvert such state laws by enacting their own contradicting edicts.

As long as their citizens can only vote for leftist, democrap/socialist, RINO politicians they will never stop this ass baggery.

In the 1980's there were only 8 shall carry states, one non-restricted carry (constitutional carry) and 16 states forbid citizen public carry.

Then the citizen's began demanding their right's be restored. The leftist then reacted by prohibiting where we could carry in an attempt to nullify in order to destroy the purpose and intent of the right.

The "gun free zones" were the most useful tool created and allowed even further restrictions but something occurred. Citizen's began noticing a trend in mass shootings and where they occurred. The left has ignored this and in fact lied about it claiming most mass shootings did not occur in "gun free zones".

In order to claim this the left had to change the definition of a "mass shooting" per FBI data. They reduced the number of victims to the point they achieved their goal. They have been called out but the corporate media turns a blind eye and ignores it while regurgitating their propaganda.

This too is becoming a tired argument as the MSM becomes more irrelevant and I see much potential progress in the next 4-8 years.

H.R. 38 is in the House SubCommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security. (this is a sub-committee within the greater "House Judiciary Committee."

Trump ran on a pro-gun platform, and he chose to make national concealed carry a plank on his platform.
Now is the time to push this forward in Congress. It was never feasible before, and it won't if Trump loses favor and is seen as having made empty promises that can be ignored, with all the blame falling on Trump personally and not on the GOP-controlled House and Senate.

Urge your congress-critters to get moving on HR 38 for national mandatory reciprocity between all states.
It's a huge improvement over the patchwork of partial reciprocity we have now, and especially considering all those states in the liberal northeast and far left coast that won't do reciprocity with anybody.

My Rep, Doug Collins, responded to my letter by saying he supports national concealed carry legislation and says he's in favor of HR 38 in its current form (who knows how it might get amended in the future, though).

Thanks, I'll let house and senate know.

But interesting the authority they use...

HR 38 is coming to the floor in the House this week. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday

Call your reps and let them know you want this to PASS!

They need a strong showing in the House to get the momentum needed for the tougher push in the Senate.

Don't email.

Call!

Doug Collins, the 4th person down that list, just sent an e-mail to all his supporters saying the he voted FOR the national concealed carry reciprocity bill, to bring it out of committee to the full floor.
I "assume" that means he'll vote for it there, too, but it wouldn't hurt to call him anyway and thank him for that vote and say you expect continued support on this.
