2019 Chevy Suburban

I have heard of issues with the cylinder deactivation causing problems

Long term , over several months the cylinder deactivation somehow causes issues with the piston rings
Causing them to be coated in carbon and sticking and causing the engine to burn oil

And a lot of people buy some thing that plugs into the OBD port that prevents the engine from deactivating the cylinders

I don’t like the look of the 19 pickups and I assume the tahoe burb shares that ?

but that’s in the eye of the beholder

Gonna be an expensive car, that’s for sure

I would choose the burb over the expedition any day since you can still get a real V-8 in the burb and only an turbo 6 in the expy

Does it have the same 8 speed that has caused issues in some of the trucks? Be sure it has the latest fluid TSB. Drive up plenty of hills and see what you think.

I rented a 2019 Tahoe a couple of weeks ago. It’s all they had. Drove to mobile Alabama and back. Fuel bill was less than $100. It drove really nice.

I didn’t want to see the price tag though.

Saw that the Chevy dealer here in Carrollton is offering lifetime powertrain warranties on new vehicles. They're advertising it like not all dealers are?
