Proud of my Oconee County Warriors local high school football team today.
2-0 start to season for the high school boys and not one, but TWO former Warrior QB’s are scheduled to start on Saturday!
Zeb Noland (Coach Travis Nolan’s son) is starting for South Carolina
Max Johnson (son of former NFL QB Brad Johnson) is starting for LSU.
Bet against them at your peril...both those young men are winners...I had the privilege of watching them both play lots of Friday nights.

I read a cool article about Noland. He started out as a backup at North Dakota State (FCS Powerhouse) to Trey Lance (49ers QB) Lance opted out of last year so Noland was starter. Led them to FCS playoffs. Then took a position at South Carolina as a grad assistant. Carolina starting QB Luke Doty gets hurt in practice so Noland puts down the headset and puts on a helmet as he has 1 year of eligibility left. Crazy stuff.

Yep. He is a good QB. My son played with him for 2 yrs at Oconee.

Depends on injuries at the time. We play Clemson in 11 days and are gonna be without Darnell Washington, Jermaine Burton, George Pickens and Arik Gilbert. That’s your top 4 pass catchers. Not winning that game.
