From what i can tell on here and elsewhere from Bama fans is this. This national title doesn't count because of Bama injuries and because UGA didn't win the SEC title. So having said that Bama fans when will y'all be turning in the 2009, 2011, and 2017 National Championship trophies?

By that logic Bama was the better team. Both were at or near full strength the first time they met. Bama lost both their #1 and #2 receivers for the title game and it showed offensively.
I can tell you, the UF team that played Bama and the one that played UGA was not the same team mentally, physically, or motivationally (they gave up after that LSU loss); also they were ranked #11 in the Bama game.
Auburn ALWAYS plays Bama harder than any other team on their schedule, same with LSU.

In an earlier post, you were arguing the teams UGA played should be dismissed based on what they were at the end of the year, rather than what they were when UGA played them.

In this post, you want to credit AL for beating a team that later imploded.

Tide’s WR1 and WR2 were injured playing against GEORGIA. If you can’t play physical football don’t play the Dawgs!!

Not to mention 3 out of 4 of the starting receiver corp for UGA we’re freshmen….but that didn’t seem to stop two freshmen and a walk on quarterback from putting back to back touchdown drives together that in the words of Sabin “really whipped our azz in the 4th quarter.” And the UGA defensive back that Intercepted the pass and scored the pick six….yeah a freshman too, lol.

All this “if”ing is nothing more than river of flowing butt hurt. Happens after every game when the unpaid experts solve all the mysteries the division 1 head coaches and staff just can’t seem to figure out, lol.
