2022-23 Way too early “Deer”Rifle thread

You’re the second guy I’ve talked to that mentioned the Axis. Definitely leaning that way. TY
Ruger American. You can have a crisp, light, and safe trigger in about 30 minutes. A little work with sandpaper on the stock and it will be a shooter. Ugly and rattles. They have proven to be accurate and reliable for me.

Ruger M77 International 308 , Leupold 3.5 X 10 x 50 scope , Winchester 180 grain Power Points. Traded for it last month.

Got one just like it but it's too purty ta hunt with and lives in the safe. ;)
Haven't been able to make myself take my International out, too purty, for the two years I've had it. It comes out this year or it's getting re-homed.

I got this TC in .45-70 & a .270 barrel with ammo and case in a trade (thanks ODT)
would like to try the .45-70 on a Deer
but .45/70 ammo is scarce
I do have a listing, trading 2 cameras ( Cuddy Back & Bushnell) for 1 box of Hornady 325gr Flex Tip
