2023 Trapping thread

Only caught 2 coons and 1 possum. All 3 were males, one of the coons was a big one. Caught the possum and big coon in a box trap each and the small one in a dog proof as the picture shows. Little fella had both hands in it trying to get the cat food.

Hate that. Had one pulled this year after all the rain and another stolen. First ever for either.

Finally caught a couple of critters last night. Weird, but they were moving around during that heavy thunderstorm. Coon was in the leg trap and the possum was in a live trap. Caught a rat in the barn too.

I caught 5 possum and no coons on my last set. Time to rebait for one more round and then I'll pull out.

I saw my first Northwest Georgia Armadillo last spring and shot it
now I see sign of others, digging holes in my yard

any tips on trapping an Armadillo ?

I am not catching like I should be. Been using cat food, sardines, and marshmallows. Any suggestions for something better? Frustrating to watch coons on my cameras, as they walk around the traps.

I used marshmallows and Vienna sausages
