.22 Tracers Suppressed

Has anyone ever fired .22 tracers through a suppressor? I'm wondering if it will do damage to the baffles? Or worse?

quick google fu search turned up a couple older vids of guys shooting them suppressed.

Not sure if its good or bad but looks cool.

Well, if you're playing for keeps, sure. But if you're just plinking on the range and want to cut down the noise while shooting tracers, why not?

Yes I have. I have even shot them out a fully automatic10/22 SBR that had a internal suppressed barrel. And the owners of Piney Mountain were there supplying all the 22 tracers. They are made in North GA. I believe I have a video shooting them as well.

Wow, I'll bet that was alot of fun! How did the baffles hold up?

It was alot of fun. To me....that was the most fun fully auto gun to shoot they had and they had a big selection to choose from. There were zero issues with the can from the tracers. I will actually see the owners of Piney Mountain on Saturday.

If I knew how to post a video I would. I don't have my actual videos, but I did find them shooting that fully auto 22 with tracers. I will try to copy and paste the link.
