.223 load question

I've had great success with both H335 and Ramshot TAC with bullets up to 64 gr. I need to pick up some 8208XBR myself, as I will soon be loading 6.5 Grendel and it's supposed to be a great one for that caliber as well.

I just loaded my first rounds for 65G. I'm starting with ar comp. Now I just need time and a place to try them out.

Ramshot TAC is good for heavier bullets. One thing I like is the info provided by the manufacturer for 223 as well as 5.56 loads (and corresponding pressures). I load a lot of 77gr HPBT with TAC.

H335 over 65gr sgk is incredibly accurate in my m&p 15 with 1:9 twist. My 1:7 colt hbar shoots best with 75 gr bthp over rl15. H335 is easy to find, even have it at academy.

I've used varget, 2460, 748, 2495, 4064, Ar comp, and 8208 in the AR15.

8208 meters well, produced excellent velocity, has good load density for the small 223 case.

Work up to 23.2 grains.

Bill,
What is your experience with using 4064 for .223?
I have a large jug I would like to start using.
Did it work well for you?
It works when you have nothing else to choose from. 4064 and 223 aren't made for each other. It meters like Lincoln logs and you don't get the greatest velocity. Save your 4064 for 308 n such
