Not shock to me. I hunted with x39 AR for years with a 20 inch barrel. Massive internal damage with the Wolf 123 gr HP ammo on deer. I never failed to recover a deer that I put a bullet in. A lot of unhappy deer because of that gun.

Looks like he was shooting at pretty close range.... any further out the ak probably wouldn't hit the target.
