I remember when I was a senior in high school, I saw a 22 rifle in the gun rack n the back window of the assistant principles pick up in the parking lot. I asked him if he wanted to get rid of it. To make a long story short, he traded that rifle to me for a marlin 12 gauge bolt action shotgun with a 36” barrel. Goose gun he called it. There was a shopping center across the road from the school that had a Big K and a Western Auto store in it. We ended up trading guns and he went to the western auto to get 10 ones if 22 LR to even up the trade. The trade took place ugh there in the school parking lot. I still have that 22 rifle
