.25acp still viable for pocket carry?

Reminds me of the time my roommate got into a bar room brawl, got his back cut up pretty bad (some junior surgeon had attempted to remove a kidney), he's being sewed up in the emergency room. Starts complaining of chest pains, they flip him over and find a .25 acp hardball just under the skin on his breastbone.
Apparently, during the festivities, someone had shot him in the chest, that puny round didn't penetrate, and he hadn't even realized it.
Over years seen 3 different people shot with 25 caliber only 1 died one was shot head bullet went around his skull he lived . Other one shot side lodged under skin, he lived. I guess beats nothing. 22 mag better choice for me. The one that died was suicide put up to his temple but it wasn’t instant took couple days for him die.

I've seen one shot right between the eyes with a 22. He was sittin up on the stretcher when they took him to the ER. He survived, they just left the bullet inside him. He had a friend that was shot too. He survived as well

I've inherited a colt vest pocket .25acp.
Neat little gun grip safety, thumb, safety, unique takedown in fairly good condition. Though I'm not gonna invest much in this, I know that there are plenty who still rely on the .25acp for discrete carry. I'd say that the addition of the Buffalo Bore offerings help breathe what little life is there is left in this cartridge.

Out of curiosity who drops one of these caliber guns in their pocket as a secondary or third gun, or even a primary for whatever purpose or reason? Of course pictures are always welcome.
ENT pistols “Ear/Nose/Throat”…nobody wants a bullet penetrating any of these areas. Self-defense is your goal.
