Yes sir, the camping is free! How old is your grandson?
That's a nice stringer full. They stopped stocking Jones creek years ago as far as I knew. All the fish I caught there were 6" or less and I was proud to have caught them.
Count me inApril 8th, 9th and 10th! Mark your calendars! Get your poles and tents ready. Kids and non nagging wives welcome! Can't wait to see y'all there, last year was a blast and I can't wait to do it again! This will be on Rock creek, they stock the stream heavy so we should all catch plenty of fish.

Anyone have any ideas how far this is from Ellijay?
Yea not far, it's much closer than from Cumming, lol.
Head up 575 towards Blue Ridge and the lake.
Take Hwy 60 and head east through Morganton, so not far.
Find a map for Deep Hole Recreation Area, that's in the same neck of the woods.
45 minutes maybe?

Takes me about an hour. But that said it takes me 15 minutes to come down the mountain to get to The round about in Ellijay
Ok thanks ya'll. I may be able to stay at my in-laws place which is east of Ellijay of of Roy Road (if that helps). I may have to ask you guys for specific directions at some point.
