Very sad, as many military folks we have training it's a wonder there's not more. A price we pay to be ready. Bless these young soldiers, prayers for the families.

I didn't like the tone of the reporting regarding whether drowsiness and other real-world factors could have contributed to it.
Many soldiers drowned in canals in Iraq.
I am 99% confident that a risk assessment was filled out, signed, and briefed with death listed as a potential consequence. Most likely vehicle roll-over was listed. I know they also train immediate action and roll-over prevention.

Vehicle rollover into water, not sure where on post. There are a lot of sketchy spots with all the rain. And it happened at 0320, so may have been driving in blackout.
