As for which can - I'm no expert, but I would look at SilencerCo Omega and Thunderbeast Ultra for 30 cal. These are titanium and come with excellent customer service should anything go wrong.
What could go wrong???
I read about Baffle strikes that happen with crappy ammo or incorrectly threaded barrels. If you plan to remove it every outing look for a quick mount and avoid cross threading your barrel.

I'll second the conjugal visit recommendation. Either buy from a range or if you buy online you can have it sent to a range for the long form 4 wait.

I dont own either - but if I bought one today it would be either a Sico Omega or a Dead Air Sandman S. Shot both last year at QRF shoot - honestly everything I shot sounded great so I would put more thought into price/weight and length/attachments

Yea I saw they had that deal going on. Still thinking about just getting the SDN-6. That price is hard to pass up. Its a tried and true can and it would complement my M4-2000 ... decisions decisions.

sambo77 Join NFA Talk they do suppressor tests via decibel readings. Compare data on there to see if you like the suppression ratings on various calibers.
